Update on the FA County Youth Cup Competition 2021-22

The FA Competitions team recently asked County FA’s to confirm their intention to participate in The FA County Youth Cup Competition for the 2021-22 season. Unfortunately the majority of Counties confirmed to The FA that participating in the 2021-22 Competition would not be viable for them.

Therefore, as a result of this and with the ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19, The FA County Youth Cup Competition will again not be held for the 2021-22 season, and Norfolk FA will not be running an U18s squad next season.

A review is due to be carried out by The FA Youth Participation and Development Committee regarding the long term  future of the Competition.  An update on the progress of the review will be provided during the 2021-22 season.
