Three teams in Norfolk have achieved the Charter Standard Youth Award from The FA.

KLSC FC of the North West Norfolk & Mid Norfolk Youth League, Yarmouth FC of the Norfolk Women’s and Girls’ Football League and Hellesdon St Faiths of the Norfolk Combined Youth Football League have all achieved the award.

The FA Charter Standard Programme is The FA’s accreditation scheme open to all grassroots clubs and leagues. It aims to raise standards in the grassroots game through supporting the development of clubs and leagues. It also recognises and rewards commitment, quality and achievement.

These are the clubs and leagues who demonstrate they offer well-run and sustainable football. Those who achieve The FA Charter Standard are proud to prioritise qualified coaching and safeguarding as well as the values of The FA’s Respect Programme as part of their game.

Norfolk FA’s Football Development Officer (Clubs & Leagues), Anna Larkins said: “Congratulations to KLSC FC, Yarmouth FC and Hellesdon St Faiths FC on achieving the Charter Standard Youth Award. All three clubs should be proud to play their part in making their football environment safe, fun and inclusive by raising standards, raising awareness and taking action.”

If your club or league is interested in becoming accredited, please contact Anna.Larkins@NorfolkFA.com.
