Norfolk FA and One Broker join forces to support local football
Regional insurance firm One Broker Ltd have committed to supporting grassroots football in the County by entering into a partnership with Norfolk County Football Association.
Norfolk FA have today announced a partnership with One Broker Ltd which will see the regional Insurance Broker become the Association’s official Insurance Partner for the next three years and the new sponsor of the Norfolk FA Veterans League.
One Broker employs over 100 people across three offices in East Anglia, providing clients throughout the UK with insurance solutions, from individuals through to large multi-national organisations. Over the past 10 years, the One Broker group has gone from strength to strength, in 2018 positioning 37th in Insurance Age’s Top 100 Independent Commercial Insurance Brokers.
The organisation will not only become Norfolk FA’s Official Insurance Partner for the next three years but will also become a key supporter of one of the fastest growing formats of the local game – Veterans’ Football.
The Norfolk FA Veterans League was formed in 2010 and has enjoyed a highly successful period to date, resulting in its growth to five divisions and the introduction of a league cup competition. The league will now be known as The One Broker Veterans League for the duration of the partnership.
In addition to the sponsorship, the One Broker Group plans to further support the grassroots game by working with Norfolk FA to introduce an affinity scheme which will enable local clubs to raise money by promoting relevant and appropriate insurance offers to their members.
Norfolk FA Chief Executive, Gavin Lemmon said: “We’re really excited to announce this new partnership with One Broker. Not only are the organisation providing valuable support to us and the development of the local game, they are presenting a real opportunity for Norfolk clubs to be proactive in supporting their own sustainability, via simple promotion of insurance products that ultimately everybody needs.”
Sean Clark, Group Managing Director of One Broker said: “One Broker is delighted to be partnering with Norfolk County FA including sponsoring the Veterans league. We look forward to helping Norfolk FA deliver its objective to increase football participation across Norfolk.”
Norfolk FA Marketing Manager, Rebecca Burton added: “It’s extremely pleasing to see the growing number of high-profile organisations that not only want to support us as the governing body of football in Norfolk; but also want to work with us to make a real difference to clubs, teams, and the multitude of individuals involved in the grassroots game.
“I look forward to working with One Broker for the duration of this partnership and hopefully beyond.”
A photo opportunity will be taking place this weekend as Norfolk FA launches the partnership via a feature fixture from the One Broker Veterans League.
