Shred Station support Norfolk County Cups at Carrow Road
Leading shredding specialists Shred Station are supporting local grassroots football this weekend as Norfolk FA’s County Cup Finals take over Carrow Road.
Sunday 29 April will see a first for Norfolk Football with a County Cup double header taking place at the home of Norwich City.
The Norfolk Junior Cup Final between Dussindale Rovers & East Harling will kick off at 2.30pm followed by the Norfolk Sunday Senior Cup Final at 7.30pm which will see an A47 derby when Windmill take on Acle Rangers.
The nationwide shredding service providers are supporting the day by sponsoring the Player of the Match award and the match ball for both fixtures.
Shred Station were founded in 2008 where, in Norwich, they started with a single mobile shredding truck servicing local organisations. They have gone on to become the largest independently owned shredding company in the UK.
Simon Franklin, Managing Director, said: "Our business started in Norwich and, while it has grown to be nationwide, we are keen to support and sponsor the local community where we can. We would like to wish all the teams taking part in the final the best of luck and well done for reaching the finals.“
Michael Banham, Chairman of Norfolk FA said: “We’re delighted to have Shred Station come on board as a partner of Norfolk FA at a very exciting period of the season. Our County Cup Finals are paramount within our calendar and the Carrow Road finals are our showpiece events, so I’m thrilled that such a well-known organisation has declared their support for the local game in such a way.”
The Norfolk Junior Cup Final kicks off at Carrow Road on Sunday 29 April at 2.30pm with tickets available on the gate priced at £5 for adults & £3 for concessions. Those attending the fixture can use a matchday programme to gain FREE entry to the Sunday Senior Cup final kicking off at Carrow Road later that evening at 7.30pm.
