The first of the two sides competing for a place in the final is home side, Wroxham FC. They currently compete in the Isthmian League, North Division. Their opponents are Mulbarton Wanderers FC, who compete one step below them in the Non-League System, in the Thurlow Nunn League, Premier Division.

Wroxham FC currently sit 19th out of twenty-two in the Isthmian League. They have won five, drawn ten and lost thirteen this season, leaving them on 25 points. Wroxham FC entered the Norfolk Hire Senior Cup at the third-round stage, where they beat Watton United, 4-1. They then faced Kings Lynn U23s in the quarter-final, progressing with a comprehensive 5-0 victory.

 

The away side are Mulbarton Wanderers FC who currently sit 7th out of twenty in the Thurlow Nunn, Premier Division. They have won fifteen, drawn three and lost nine this season, leaving them on forty-eight points. Wanderers entered the competition in the second-round stage, kicking off their cup campaign with a 2-0 away win at Norwich CEYMS FC. The third round saw a repeat of the 2020-21 final, with Mulbarton taking on Gorleston FC. However, this time Mulbarton were victorious, beating Gorleston on penalties, seeing them into the Quarter Finals of the competition. Mulbarton continued their good form in the cup with a 5-0 home win against Norwich United, which sees them earn their spot in the semi-final.

The third team on show for the spectacle will of course be the match officials. They, like the teams, have also earned the right to be here, and I would like to extend my congratulations to them on their selection.
