Norfolk FA are delighted to announce the launch of a new Pan-Disability League commencing in September for the 2024/25 season.
We are extremely excited to see the new league come to life after months of work and are looking forward to combating the lack of competitive disability football in Norfolk. The new league is targeting 6–12-year-olds for the first year with the aim of expanding to further age groups in following seasons.
To celebrate the launch of this new league, we are running a festival on Saturday 10th August for any children aged 6-12, more details below:
- Date: Saturday 10 August
- Time: 10am-2pm (meet 9-9:30am- kick off 10am)
- Location: The FDC, Clover Hill Road, Bowthorpe, NR5 9ED
The festival will allow those interested in joining a team for the league to meet coaches and further understand the league format, as for many children they may not have had the opportunity to play competitive football previously.

Norfolk FA Football Development Officer, Tayla Woodhouse, said this about the new league: “We are incredibly excited to see this project get off the ground after working on it all season. We are passionate about the disability game and can’t wait to see this league begin and combat the lack of competition available in disability football. We believe this project will be extremely successful and hope it will grow more and more after our initial launch in the 24/25 season!”
