Norfolk County FA are delighted to announce that Club Affiliation for the 2020/21 season will be FREE OF CHARGE for all of our Clubs.
We recognise that Clubs at all levels are facing unprecedented challenges at the current time and so we are continuing to do all that we can to help. As part of that, both the Club Affiliation Fee and Team Supplement Fee will be free of charge for the coming season.
Furthermore our insurance partner Sportsguard have also confirmed that all personal accident insurance fees will be reduced by 16.67%
All other prices, including Public Liability insurance and
County Cup entry, remain frozen at 2019/20 rates meaning that all Clubs will
benefit from significantly reduced costs for the new season.

The affiliation window will open on 1st July and we will contact all
Clubs directly prior to this date to provide further information, guidance and
support.
At the same time as agreeing to the above, we have also undertaken a full review of our affiliation model and can confirm that with effect from the 2021/22 season, we will no longer be charging a fee for Clubs to affiliate and will be introducing a new range of new team categories and charging fees on a per team basis to ensure that the total amounts paid to us by Clubs more accurately reflects both the size and also the types of teams that they run. Further details will be announced on this in due course.
Michael Banham, Chairman of Norfolk FA: “I am delighted that we are able to support our Clubs during these challenging times by offering free affiliation and discounted personal accident insurance for the 2020/21 season and my sincere thanks go to The FA, Sport England and Sportsguard for their invaluable financial support that has made this possible.
I am confident that this news will be warmly welcomed by our Clubs and I thank all of our volunteer workforce for the hard work and dedication that they are continuing to give to grassroots football during the current crisis.
My thanks go to Matt Carpenter and Ian Grange for the continued hard work that they are undertaking to support our Clubs and Leagues and also thanks must go to Gavin Lemmon and the Board of Directors for approving this package that will provide some vital support to our Clubs.”
Matt Carpenter, Football Services Manager: “It is really pleasing to be able to provide some much needed financial support to all of our Clubs during these incredibly challenging times. With many Clubs finding themselves in an uncertain position I hope that this offer will make a real difference to them as they plan for the new season.
Like everybody involved in the local game, we look forward to the day when it is safe for the sport we all love to resume and in the meantime we hope that everybody continues to stay well, take care and carefully follow all of the guidance issued by the government.”
