The Greens will take plenty of positive into this game following their 2-1 win over Jersey in the last round. A confident opening half an hour saw the squad create plenty of chances, taking the lead early on before being pegged back shortly before half-time. A nervy start to the second half from both teams saw Norfolk eventually take control in an overall mature performance that enabled the home side to grab the crucial goal and progress in the competition.

Norfolk were knocked out of this stage in the competition last year by Leicestershire & Rutland U18’s, so the management team will be keen to go further this season.

Meanwhile, Northumberland have made a positive start to the competition with a 3-0 victory against West Riding in the previous round of the competition.
