Sunday Senior Cup: Windmill v CSKA Emneth – Wednesday 24 May 2017, 7.30pm KO

The Sunday Senior Cup Final will see two teams from either end of the County compete for our most prestigious Sunday County Cup. Windmill of the Great Yarmouth Sunday League narrowly defeated DE FC 4-3 thanks to a stoppage time winner. CSKA Emneth beat 2014-15 Runners Up El Sol 4-1 on penalties after drawing 2-2 at the end of extra time.

Scott Butler, manager of Windmill, is confident his team can succeed under pressure:

“I’m looking forward to the whole occasion, and to hopefully make all the fans and people who put their money into this team proud. With the quality we have in the squad I have been confident heading into every game this season, with no disrespect to our opposition of course."

CSKA manager Alex Street hopes his side revel in the occasion to take the trophy back to West Norfolk:
